The thing about being a songwriter is your words are cemented in time. I wanted to write an autobiographical song about my childhood and teenage years. I wanted “Back In The Day (Homies)” to paint a picture so vivid that you could see these things or even think about the fun times you had growing up. I shot the music video in Antigua, Guatemala, with backdrops of iconic arches, scenic lookouts featuring an inactive volcano, and ancient ruins. Peep my lil’ sis making a cameo in the video too!
