I’m so stoked to be back and more focused than ever! I had to take some time off to travel the world, live my 20’s life, see some things and be comfortable and firm in my foundation. The music industry has changed so much since my first album and even my purpose. During my latest sabbatical, I had an epiphany and changed my “why”. You can’t do something and not have a “why” behind it. I mean you can but you’ll be more likely to quit or not too much effort behind it. I went from wanting to be a beacon for suburban multicultural girls (because that’s what I am) to now wanting to bridge the gap between African and African Diaspora artists with the hopes that people can see what we’re doing and start bridging the gap themselves. With that being said, I finally found a way to combine my passion for music with my love for travel, and now I have 3 volumes of “Christin SanDiego” that will be released over the next 2 years.
